Ingredients

Toasted Muesli

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup of natural yoghurt
  • 1 grated apple
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup slivered almonds
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Topping

  • 150 g Pomlife pomegranate arils
  • Banana, sliced
  • Blackberries or fresh berries of your choice
  • 2 tsp chia seeds

Method

  1.  In a large bowl, combine the oats, apple juice, and cinnamon stirring to combine and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight if preferred.
  2. In a separate bowl combine the walnuts, slivered almonds and shredded coconut. When the oat mixture has softened, remove from the refrigerator and stir through the yoghurt, grated apple and nut mixture.
  3. Add freshness with Pomlife fresh pomegranate arils, sliced banana, blackcurrants or berries. Top with a sprinkle of chia seeds, it’s the perfectly healthy way to start your day.

Tip: Replace the banana and berries with SPC sliced peaches and tropics pineapple pieces for variation
